The vast majority of complaints develop gradually over time. For this reason, it is beneficial to agree on a treatment plan, followed by low-frequency follow-up treatments to help prevent recurrence.

You can compare this to visiting the dentist, where your teeth are also checked periodically.
The treatment uses corrective techniques (manipulations) to mobilise joints. Sometimes a ‘cracking’ sound is heard, caused by gas bubbles within the joint. These manipulations increase range of motion, reduce pain, and relax muscles.In addition, massage, stretching, ergonomic advice, and exercises are used to help the body move correctly again and to promote recovery.
